2026: Falegan Assures Ekiti Residents of Good Governance if Elected

The Accord Party governorship candidate for the 2026 Ekiti election, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering genuine good governance if elected next year. He also urged citizens to participate actively by exercising their civic rights in the forthcoming poll.

Speaking in a recent interview, Falegan described himself as a leader driven by a mission centred on the happiness and welfare of the people of Ekiti.

According to him, “I asked God to bless my mission before I stated my purpose. The people of Ekiti deserve to be happy. God has endowed us with both material and human resources. I want to use the grace of the Almighty to extend His blessings to every Ekiti citizen through good governance come June 2026.”

Falegan, who is also the founder of the Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, further emphasized the power of the ballot, urging voters to make informed choices.

He added, “Your vote is your right to good governance. And remember Proverbs 29:2: ‘When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice.’ Please, vote wisely.”
